Hiking
In my hiking guides you’ll find everything you need to know about individual hikes: directions/maps, trailhead location, photos, trail conditions, and tips to ensure your success/safety.
Make sure you check out my gear guide and my post for what to wear hiking too.
You can find my hiking guides here.
Scrambling
Scrambling is considered more “advanced” hiking and should only be attempted by experienced hikers, unless accompanied by a more experience adventurer. Scrambling can be dangerous, but it has quickly become one of my favourite mountain-style activities!
You can find my scrambling guides here.

Backpacking
Backpacking, or backcountry camping, is when you carry your gear and camp along a multi-day hike.
Similar to my hiking guides, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about specific backpacking trails as well as provide information about booking campsites, gear you’ll need, itineraries, and more.
You can find my backpacking guides here.
Skiing & Snowboarding
My ski guides encompass the best resorts in a specific area, “locals” guides for individual resorts, and some tips for packing/planning a ski trip.
You can find my ski guides here.

Canoeing & Kayaking
I’m fairly new to the world of canoeing, but in these guides you can find the best places to canoe as well as multi-day canoe trip itineraries.
You can find my canoe guides here.
Guides to get you Outside

You can find all my outdoor guides here, but I’m gonna highlight a few on this page because I think having proper gear and proper clothes is the first step to successfully get outside:

The following are a few of my favourite Canadian destinations for outdoor adventure:
