This map is a work in progress as I’m currently backpacking Mexico. It’s on sale for a limited time as only some areas are covered. Over time this map will only gain more pins & information!

This map was designed to be a digital tour guide when you’re out exploring Mexico. This map is intended to be used in the free Google Maps app (downloadable directly to your phone) or via desktop for the best user experience. It gives you instant access to beaches, activities, hiking trails, restaurants, magic towns, wellness experiences, and so much more – no pre-travel research from your end required.

This map is a one-time purchase, however it’s downloadable and it will receive automatic updates for life. The map along with a digital guide will be sent to you via email after your purchase. If it does not appear in your inbox, please check your junk folder.

The pinned spots on this map are categorized by the following and include:

  • Points of Interest: major cities, beach towns, mountain villages, and Pueblos Magicos; Mexico’s “magic towns.”
  • Beaches: hike-in AND easily accessible beaches with notes regarding swimming and surfing conditions, special features like caves, shade vs sun, and how busy they are.
  • Hiking Trails: hiking trails AND trailheads loaded with hiking statistics, first-hand trail descriptions, photos, a downloadable map or link to a complete guide, and tips for how to access the trail.
  • Lodging: hostels, hotels, camping & unique accommodation experiences, and wellness retreats – each with a description and booking link.
  • Restaurants: cafes, street tacos, fine dining, seafood, grab-n-go options, bars & nightclubs, international dishes, healthy choices, smoothies, etc.
  • Activities: boat tours, snorkelling, turtle releases, cenotes, etc.
  • Photo-ops: sunset/sunrise spots and unique photo-ops with information regarding how to get the best shot (when to visit, time of year, etc).
